Prisons are heaven for these people, they will love it there.
Plus they are so overcrowded with weed dealers and smokers, general pointless "criminals", i wish resources were spent on actual problems, so there'd be space for actual criminals.

The Media were actually quite restrained to begin with on the coverage. The first night, although there were live cameras they were so far back it was difficult to see what was happening. It was only that attack on the BBC team that gave any real sense of what was going on.
The footage of the Tottenham Hale retail park just showed opportunists mostly and how could they not report that it was happening and it took the Police a long time to respond.
If you were following this thread on Sunday and watching coverage, BBC and Sky News were so restrained that they were almost pretending nothing was even happening on Sunday night, despite pockets of trouble and a big disturbance in Bristol.

Yea. At the very least, a teacher will have more time for different pupils. And the pupils will each take something differently from the lesson.

I think we should make our prisons more like the ones in the US. I don’t know the figure but i know it cost thousands to lock up criminals in this country, whilst the one I seen in America it was costing them like 2 cents per prisoner per day/week. Prisoners should pay for their own costs via being put to work as i think they were back in the days. I know in America prisoners are put to work and they get god awful meals/luxuries to cut costs. If it cost less to lock up prisoners we could then hand out harsher sentences without putting a burden on the economy.
Thats just insane. Hecki wouldnt mind a free trip to Alton Towers.

Yes they are doing more harm than good, they too like some politicians have no clue. They think they understand but again instead of Darcus telling his grand children they must work hard and study hard, he bring this rubbish of the boy being shot, The question he should be dealing with is what the hell does anyone want to be carrying a gun for, guns in the city are only used to kill people, why is a young man carrying a gun, why the hell this boys parents bring up their child in that way. I also believe the parents of that boy have no right to complain about the police. if he was not dealing with guns he would still be alive. if you live by the sword you will die by the sword. The parents of that boy should be blaming themselves.
These idiot speakers of the black community should keep their mouths shut. Boris appointed Ray Lewis as an adviser and he is one of a few i actually see doing a good job, but the the media seems to destroy the ones that are actually having a positive effect.
These boys are only robbing because they are too god dam lazy to work for the things they want, they are always looking for something for nothing. Its just greed and jealousy. nothing more nothing less. They steal what they want then they destroy because they are jealous because someone else has the guts to work hard for what they want. Then you have their parents believing the crap some of these leaders say to try and hide their own shame of how poorly they have taught their own children. in fact they look for excuses because they do not want to admit to themselves that they are responsible.
Lazy and useless most of them are. sorry useless is the wrong word they are just bone ideal lazy as my dad would say.

I agree with Lord Sugar that the Media should print the faces of those involved ala what happened after the student riots.
Im not Racist its just an observation of what i seen on tv the same as when the news people are doing reports in the street black people are jumping behind the news readers and acting like there enjoying whats happening.
Maybe it helps that i have a colour tv and maybe you might have a black and white tv and cant tell the difference between black and white people.
Im not sure, but there seems to be a good few people moving there, considering the house prices there, they are obviously finding the sacrifice worth it.
But this is irrelevant to the topic frankly.

I agree with Lord Sugar that the Media should print the faces of those involved ala what happened after the student riots.
The media are publishing the images. I can guarantee there will be cries of racism as a result.
