The biblical reference to Armageddon is referring to a place, not an event. 
It is also a film, but even that wasn't an event
Also, the one world government with what seems to be it's single based monitary system needs to come into play before other biblical prophecies are due to take place before the battle at Armageddon.
The JW's read what they want to read and believe what they want to beleive and take their own butchered version of the bible out of context.
