No it isn't, it's a statement of fact, nothing more.
No one is having a problem with the fact that many, if not most, of those involve have been black male youths.
The problem comes from the 'incidental comments' that have followed:
"Need to stop the black people breeding"
"There is only one race that hasn't evolved past the stone age"
etc.
Nothing more than racist nonsense.

Looks like Sky News are racist as they have shown lots more pictures of people wanted who are black rather then white!

The same percentage, if not more, were males. You don't have a problem with that though do you?
Is there a curfew on? How can they just run up and start battering anyone in the street? Those boys were just riding bikes down the road.
But what is the point of stating said fact if you are not going to progress from it?
People don't just randomly state fact (I like turtles!), they are usually given in context and further more discussion. Hence the unintentional inferring that black people loot more.

I read a post earlier where someone had said "hang them" and the next post was "from a tree" now that to me is racist as it refers to the old days when the KKK would carry out hanging of black people from trees.
Now that I agree with and I'd say that is as mindless as the crimes being carried out, but for those people who do make those kind of statements, I think the majority of us can ignore their narrow minded remarks and discuss the real issues.

How is it a conspiracy theory? Everything it says in that article has been proven in this thread alone already. People here are calling for more drastic measures, more heavy handed approaches, the government has said water cannons are on stand by and that a curfew is an option to be considered as a last resort. If you don't think these riots are going to lead to a more heavy handed police state than we already have, then you're deluded. You're response to that sentence will probably be something along the lines of that being a good thing, and that police need to be less tolerant of such behaviour - which is true - but you are one of those people the article is about, in which you fail to see that it wont just affect those people, but infact everyone - with more laws, regulations and regiemes for law abiding citizens. Ones that harass, restrict and disadvantage you - and you'll welcome it.

I think they were being chased by the line of police you see at the end of clip. The police cut them off at the bottom of the road and gave them a slap.
