What an anonymous officer told The Telegraph

Let's make no bones about this. Most police officers are desperate to take a more robust approach with these lawless thugs. They are fed up with being told they are ineffective. The sad reality is, officers feel unable to take a strong line with criminals as they don't feel supported by the government or certain sections of a vocal community who insist on a kid gloves approach. Lets hope that we shall finally have a political and public debate on the future of British Policing so that officers can feel emboldened rather than vilified by their Government and certain sections of the community.

Judging by the fact I saw groups around south ealing, and later on heard Ealing Broadway was in trouble, and the panasonic store in west ealing got hit.

I would think groups were making their way up south ealing road towards ealing broadway, other groups came from west ealing towards ealing broadway, and supposedly they headed Ealing Common direction and all the groups tore up Ealing Broadway pretty good. There was a couple cars just past that pub near TVU, on the way up to EB, then finnegans, the shop on the corner and flats opposite, then up bond street.

Could have been a lot worse in ealing, was wondering if a much larger group of people might have headed up from the estates nearer the motorway, both sides, could have been a lot worse I think, but it was a fairly small number of them.

I think the police priority was the shopping centre. They only had the numbers to police one area, so that's why the surrounding areas got messed up more. They were forced away from the main centre, so ended up destroying Ealing Green and Haven Green. It sounded like there were 100's of them when they passed by the end of my road.

and here it goes, the GMP told everyone NOT to go out as they would be extreamly robust with anyone they found.

if your stupid enough to be out after midnight when a riots on its your own fault weather its the cops who slap you about or some scumbag rioter.

What if I work night shift?

i like how he edits it by zooming in on the replay to make it look like the guy went don from a hit to the head when he just trips over the cub if you look first.

He hits him on the first bit, it's only a replay even that you get to see zoomed in, see frame below from 0:17.

Did anybody see Darcus Howe on the BBC defending the rioters and criticizing the police then turning on the interviewer ?

It escapes me why they give this Buffoon a platform if you ask me.

Just showed this on sky news

EDIT* I know the video is from earlier but they just repeated it and was the first time I've seen it.

He tripped and got hit on the head, or the baton skimmed his head, a combination of the two I think anyway.

And I totally heard the Scout go "BONK!" in my head. Everything is more fun with TF2 sound effects xD.

And it isn't racist, it's just putting British people first for a change. I don't think this is wrong, I think it's sensible and fair.

Well, as long as they remember to put the many non-White British equally first also.....

Like it or not, we are a multi cultural country & society and anybody who tries to "put the British first" will no doubt have great fun deciding who's who!

Yeah as it stands they aren't ready to govern. But the basic gist of their policies is what I agree with. And it isn't racist, it's just putting British people first for a change. I don't think this is wrong, I think it's sensible and fair.

Cartman, how many generations back can you go in your British heritage? And again, yes you are racist :D
