How about you go through the article and point out what's wrong with it's assessment?

My solution to crime is the castle doctrine and concealed carry.

There is no solution to crime, only negation and giving them no reason to do it.

Maybe if the prisons weren't filled up with ever weed smoker in the country, it wouldn't be so bleak.

On a side note, ill be voting for UKIP come the next election, it shall be a good first vote.

The liberal Conservaborocrats dont deserve my notice.

On a side note:

Rebecca Jarvis (CBS News just on Sky News now) is a perfect specimen of female form isn't she?

edit//
Ahhh, I remember her from the Apprentice USA Season 4. She broke her ankle during filming but carried on. I loved her then and I love her now! :)

Also, good to see CBS reporting these riots correctly!

They showed a map of 'riot spots' that included places in South Wales!?? Really?

Some expert to do with the magistrates courts on sky earlier said very few will go to prison. That it would have be very serious like rape or murder, and that looting, smashing shops, even arson, doesn't qualify for prison. Unbelievable.

Our prison system isnt even that good anyway, whats the point?

Our entire system of governance is broken, this country is damn near non existent.

What? Our system of government is one of the most stable and productive in the world, would you prefer the american system of left vs right civil war to the point of nothing changes as the two sides will never agree, the italian system top down corruption, the zimbabwe system of do what i say or you will get killed or the chinese system of officials pocketing every penny that comes in and leaving the poor to starve.

And saying a country is near non existent has to be one of the most retarded things i have ever read on this forum.

+1

Never seen such a massive police presence on the streets! I really wish these kind of numbers were permanent, crime would be almost non-existent!

Be prepared for less.

Budget cuts for forces mean that they are reducing police numbers. Couple this with officers who will leave the force due to their actual cash in hand being reduced by upto £200+ per month through the proposed cancelling of certain payments. There is also a proposed pension increase of 3.2% over the next 3 years resulting in an increase of circa £100/month in contributions leaving some cops £300/month worse off (and this is just your lowest ranked PC's I am referring to)...

Even if they don't leave, their morale will be rock bottom...

Tbh I single handedly stopped the riots :)

Last night I told everyone in the country that I would beat the **** out of them if they didn't behave, they obviously listened.

NOW STFU U IDIOTS

Considering the last 13 years, you better not be meaning that...

The only reason its working right now is the scrutiny we are putting on it, all the insights by certain eye opener media like dispatches, panorama and real stories, etc...

Some parts of government might be better than the federal systems around the world, but its always ruined by people not participating and not enough scrutiny into things.

1997-2008 was just disgraceful, people didn't care, as long as labour was shouting line liners out and creating a fallacious growth, it was fine to ignore the debt and problems of corruption.

Plus we already have a left vs right system here, albeit not as pathetic as the US its still existant, people really need to stop voting for two parties that have shown themselves to be incompetent in handling this country.

The best thing that could happen now...UKIP, now thats pathetic.

ITS BEEN DONE A MILLION TIMES!

Funnily enough even being in Central London I've still not seen really a single thing (bar maybe 1 or 2 riot vans) that would make me think this city was ever dealing with riots. It's quite bizzare how localised it's remained really.

But otherwise yes, they seemed to now be bored/out of stuff to nick. That's why these riots were never *that* worrying. You're not dealing with quashing an ideal or a movement - Just bored kids wanting to set stuff on fire and maybe grab a new TV in the process. Once they had their fun they were always going to just go home.
