Absolutely nothing win at all about a TR7, even with a V8 :p

There is indeed, hence the thread. Normally on these spec me a 2k car we end up with a mondey or similar so I thought I would bring some fun back to the 2k buget section.

As for the French cars, well, French is fine if you don't mind parts falling off while you drive... by the sounds of things they suffer in a similar way to that 27 year old Triumph.

Your probably right about the TR7 - For me I was simply scrolling through pages of tat and that popped up and straight away put a grin on my face. :D
 
This thread has got me seriously thinking about trading in my little corsa run about for a Cooper S... Question is do I need two fast cars?

On top of that they are getting pretty close to that 2k figure.

Absolutly but there are certainly cars in the 3k bracket. This one I recon is asking to be bought for 2.5k (car) Qusetion is sell the corsa and teach the Mrs to drive in a Cooper S or wait till the Mrs passes and buy a Cooper S. Either way I think ill sell the Corsa soon and she likes the mini. Anyway ill make a thread for that when it happens... back to the 2k beasts!

They've dropped in price massively, I think they are down to about 5k now? Nice cars but expensive to run. Shame it wasn't a bit more powerful.
