Is it just me, or do Distorted and Adz have very similar characteristics in their play? (just finished playing Distorted for the first time in yonks)
Both like their throws, FAs, dps, and their seemingly random midscreen tatsus (not anticipating a fireball).
The last one is extremely noticeable because neither of them used to do it before.
Are the tatsus done because they're hard to punish (Ryu is airborne so there's only so big a combo you can do, it at all), and if it's blocked, it's almost like a 50/50 betwen ryu throw/dp?

Eh? I think I did like 2 random tatsu's in the whole set :s. It's not really a good thing to do for the most part but it can set up a sort of 50/50. I did a couple of riskyish tatus to catch you back dashing.
I wasn't really playing that well tonight. I screwed up my execution numerous times.

Well, you weren't playing well, but still solidly beat my ryu and akuma, as I expected. My Viper did better than I thought she would though.

I very rarely do "random tatsus" because it usually gets punished in some way and puts you in bad position against most characters.
I havent played many vipers to be honest so Im not super confident with the match up.
I'll take that as a compliment lol. Suprised you did well with Viper against Distorted though, I think that's prob your weakest char!
Yep enjoying her so much more then i ever had with Chun-Li, i don't feel so out-classed anymore
If only you played ocuk's best Viper...

Had to compress the raw video because it was almost 2gb and it would have taken an age to upload hence the quality is a bit rubbish. Had some good and some very bad games. I should have won against that Cammy but for some reason I was holding back all night, trying not to get hit or fearing some massive combos are gonna land on me (I'm scarred from my games with OMH). My stick is acting up too, you'll see me stand there doing nothing right next to someone after a roll. I never do that! Might get one of those new Q4 designs from Gremlin Solutions.

Seeing as I only ever hit 3k PP on super ONCE, and that was a few days before AE was released, I don't think I'll ever reach 3.5k on AE. Still it's a challenge and you're on!
