Classic 120gb IPod problems

I have been trouble with playing songs on my iPod everytime I play a song it will just randomly skip to another song, but they work perfectly in iTunes. Can anybody suggest anything?

Aye, do a hard reset and update/restore & try again. Might be a dying HDD.

I tried restoring it through iTunes and did a hard reset it is still skipping songs

Sounds like a HDD problem, had the same with the 80gb classic. Still haven't gotten around to buying a new one.

If it is the HDD, depending how much you value the ipod (and if its not in warranty) you can pick up a new 120gb drive for about £60, or upgrade it, provided the logic board supports it, to a 160gb for about £80.
