I wasn't a fan either. It seemed very slow moving and I didn't find any of the characters particularly sympathetic.

Couldnt really get to grips with it either. To be honest, I think Game of Thrones has spoiled me for this years TV.

I thought The Borgias was well written, i liked season 1 and will watch season 2, maybe not as good as The Game of Thrones or Spartacus series, but still good.

What you guys think of last nights episode? Just seen it and I'm loving the series so far, so much deceit. Liking the assassins character especially.

Watched a few episodes now and I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

I think it's a bit too dark to be honest, as though they're trying to be over the top with it. Will persevere to see how the storyline pans out though.

I didn't think much to it after the first 2 episodes, but after that it got better.

Seen up to Ep.5 and quite enjoying it now.

Back on topic with the cast they've lined up for it I'll be extremely surprised and disappointed if it's no good.

I just finished watching this and thought it was crap. I did like King Charles, great character, and Jeremy Irons is also perfect for the role, but the plot was lacking in a lot of areas and the end of the series didnt leave me in any suspense. Not enough to wait for the 2nd series. Im on the lookout for something else now; I might give The Tudors a go.

Cheers - definitely one to get on BluRay I think. I thought the series was excellent, being only vaguely aware of that period in history I'm now torn on whether to read a book about the Borgias or wait for season 2.

I’ve picked up a copy of The Borgias by Christopher Hibbert to read before the next series and pre-ordered the blu-ray as I want to see that again without all the awful advert breaks.

It was an awesome return. The second episode is apparently up on Showtimes onDemand service over in yank land

I just finished the Tudors for the 2nd time and the Borgias is one of those i wish there was a full fleshed out 5 seasons to marathon through. There's far too few shows like these.
