Well Dice is trying to sway console gamers it seems, i don't think any cod to date on console has had dedi servers.

I think they are different games aimed at different people.
I enjoy COD and i'll be buying MW3. COD is fantastic for jumping into a quick game, playing a few rounds and then be done with it. BF3 you need to devote a lot more time to. The length of a round in BF3 will probably be 5 times what it is in COD. Both have their advantages.

On console? That is where the real war will be fought. BF3 will almost certainly trounce MW3 on PC in terms of players in 6 months, maybe less.

I have tried 4 times now with 4 different live support staff and still no luck
I was planning to modify my CV for job hunting, but upon seeing the trailer today, my plans for today fell apart.
The boredom of job hunting is gonna kill my heart.
Need BF3 now!!

Hopefully EA games don't have their brains in their boots and really go for it marketing wise. a lot of my friends who are casual players quite often say to me "did you see that trailer (game) on tv last night, never heard of it but looks good" Usually about a game ive known about for over a year and waited for. The power of advertising can be overlooked i hope they (EA) give the game a real chance to show its merits to all, as critically i can see it being GOTY personally maybe 2nd only to skyrim so its bound to sell the hardcore gamers market.
Im fed up of rehashed games this generation with the odd exception (massive fifa fan
) and im not cod bashing here (adored cod4) but but it needs a big change the industry with new exciting games that do only come about every 3-4 yrs in cycles. I know this will never happen as im not deluded money makes the world go round and if i was a activision share holder id make them bash games out every 6 months, but im a gamer have been for 22 yrs or so i want quality titles now
