This time I am being very blunt and have given them the link to amazon UK.

Apparently my situation has been escalated to level 2 lol. Whatever that means and I am waiting again in the queue. I hope my level 1 conversation was passed onto level2, so I don't have to repeat myself again

the advisor became apprehensive and she suggested she would have given me the discount but she didn't have enough information, hence passed it onto level 2

Give us Updates, your story is interesting lol.
 
Why don't you just order retail? Doesn't cost you bandwidth, can install it sooner than you can download it, have to register it on origin so if you ever want to download it you can do that too and it's cheaper.

Apparently there are 27 people in the queue lol. Must be some serious issues peopel facing lol with EA **** customer service.

If I am turned down again, I will keep pestering them and including threatening them with their crap service on internet forums.

huh ?

you pre load DD games these days, so you have the game while others are waiting for delivery :p



plus even the retai lcopies still need to unlock thorugh origin so you get them al lat the same time like steam games.

Origin didn't pre load Crysis 2 at all for me, although it has had a significant update since so hopefully this will, Also Orign servers were dire when it did finally start to come down

...but does Origin let you pre-dl?

Even with pre-dl though, they often leave fairly limited time before the game goes live. As soon as the disc is delivered, you just pop it in and install it and ready to go within 20 min.
 
Was reading this thread on the train home with the adventures you can have with EA. I am on with them now trying my luck, guy I have is telling me game are selling just the add ons and not the actual game for £29.99 :S.
 
I dunno why everyone is so keen to be able to pre order and pre load the game.

We all know that the servers will fall over from "unforeseen demand" on release day and the game will be full of netcode related bugs and exploits for months and months after release.
