Aww apparently there is a killcam?

I hate that in COD. I'm trying to camp somewhere and the killcam gives away my location

It'll just be the same as the one in BC2 I imagine, and will be a server side option I expect.

Wonder if theres gonna be any on the floor footage showing the lan setup for mp, this shows supposodly Europes E3, but ive not read anything saying there will be more footage shown off.

Only partially though, plus i suppose its map dependant as to how obvious it is where you're hiding.

this game is getting more impressive as i read what is available in game, kirkland was one of my favourite maps. I remember the middle control point the building where snipers used to camp, loads of fire fights.
i was mostly the medic, one thing i find frustrating specially in BC2 (arica harbour) that it came sniper central, which means your a 1 man bandit and get fragged pretty much straight away.

Hopefully the recon will be a lot harder in BF3 and teams actually work together, nothing worse than being in a team that either don't revive you or provide ammo or support.

Definitely getting a server for this, just to turn killcam off.

It'll be Conquest based, possibly with a few Rush maps depending on how linear they are.

May even go 32 player only with 64 player IO maps just get that BF2 awesomeness feeling!

Just saw the gamescom footage map called "Caspian Border" the map look maaahoosive.

i almost jizzed in my pants, it's like BF2 but awsome. can't wait to get into a MP battle on a 64 manned server, dogfights happening above, helicopters flying by and tanks blasting there way through camps.

Why do they never include the SA80 in games.

In fact, just looked at the list of all the kit, and I am really quite dissapointed.

Barely anything new. Same old tanks (Abrams and T90), same old jet's (F-18, SU-35) although the A10 is a nice addition, same old heli's (Cobra and Havoc), same old weapons. There are some things added, but all of them seem quite insignificant. There are no changes in the main vehicles or aircraft.

Where is the Chinook? Where is the Apache? Where is the F35/Rafale/Typhoon?

I understand that these things may not go well with the storyline, but I certianly expected more than whats on offer.

It's as if they have just taken BF2, updated the graphics and maps, and put a few more insignificant vehicles in.

The gameplay looks outstanding, though, and it will most certianly be a fantastic game none the less.

true it seems to be what every infantry at garrisons use. haven't held one myself but i have held an m24 sniper rifle

SA80 was a medic unlock in BF2

The more killcams the better. People who want to camp in a bush doing nothing can go elsewhere.
