****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

It's supposed to back up everything too I think but it doesn't always work so is a bit pointless.
 
Got a new desk stand from mobilefun. Very sturdy and an excellent fit.

Just in case you didn't know, Apple has filed an injunction to attempt to ban the sale of all Samsung Galaxy series smartphones in the EU. Not just tablets - the whole range!
 
Soooo, managed to drop my phone today ¬_¬ The case pinged off and the phone slid across the kitchen floor liner.

The chrome bezel has some scuffs on it now as does the earpiece black grille. Also some scuffs on the back.

Excuse me while I go sacrifice a small child for this end of the world event!
 
Screen seems to be in good shape though, the bezel helped :p

You can't notice the scuffs unless you look for them which I suppose is a good thing.

The moment GS II housings are available I'm breaking out my Torx screwdriver set ;)

Also tempted to use the free handset upgrade in October with Vodafone to get a free GSII and sell this one on one of those phone selling sites.

The latter is the easy route but I do want to see how this thing is put together by fitting my own housing :p

bit extreme, i dropped my first sII before it got cancelled and they sent me a new one :D .... the scuffs faded a lot after a few days.

also if your thinking of upgrading again...

That is certainly something that has crossed my mind, a Prime would be amazing but I'd have to pay a fee for the handset if I wanted to keep my existing tariff or pay £5 more a month to get it on a free upgrade!

i would let that contract expire as quad core will be here soon. a few scuffs is nothing to worry about and trust me they will fade and as you said you only see them cos you know they are there.
