Just spoke to Leanne @ CPW and she says the ones ordered will be honoured, and the aceptance email will be sent out sometime today, but stock for the orders placed HAS been allocated to the orders.
 
I have been completely trolled by my own parents here.

My mum and dad went to pick up the 32gb one that i had reserved as no 16s were in stock.

Got there,they'd overbooked them and had none left. The guy noticed a 16gb had expired reserve yesterday evening, and my mum said "well that's not the one he wants but I'll have it" and now she's keeping it!

I'd rather they'd not have had any than this :(

Argos shows completely out of stock everywhere up here, and out of stock for delivery.

Argos have sold out now as well for mail order, so maybe they won't reduce the price?

Oh well, I'll just return mine to the local store then.

Since the price you pay, is the price instore for that day . . . .


If anyone manages to buy 2, I will buy one off them, as I suppose will a few people on here! I have to go to bed for nightshift, so am buggered if there are reductions, I will just not be able to check anywhere!

She said all the touchpad orders were on a different system due to the volume of orders, but the acceptance emails will be all going out later. She check my orders and they were both in there. She said if the order does not show in this alternative 'queue' then stock had not been allocated to the order.
 
Ive reserved one with argos for a 3 day delivery to a local store for pick up... im really doubting it will come through as it was the last one..... If they reduce prices before the 35th im laughing, if not ill just forget to collect it.

I've been told via email from exp they have NO stock and will not be getting any more. Received ~45 minutes ago.
 
Between the staples site being slow and our internet at work being slow, I'm hoping to pick up the 32gb one while they still have stock.

EDIT: Staples prices are ex-vat. The 32gb works out at £150
