Why?

My son already uses my existing Touchpad - he can launch anything he wants to (loves the paint program and has no problem navigating to the disney movies I've put on it for him) and he's really careful with it.

Just going with the typical view of toddlers and technology.

I bet somehow, he'll still be able to jam a transformer figure in there...somehow*



*it's always a tranformer inside a case, in a speaker etc.

I can assure you that the 16gb gets reduced in the end. Like I said above, I've ordered one at the reduced price (though it is still more expensive than anywhere else's price).
Just be patient, and hopefully you'll get one!
