Well there is money out of my account but still not hopeful.

Amigafan, I just phoned EPP and they said they can't guarantee that any will be available on the EPP site at a discounted price. Not sure how you managed to do it. I have been on it fairly steady and never saw any at reduced prices.

Aye, maybe. I got in pretty damn quickly so I'm hopeful. If I don't get one though I don't really mind. I can't really afford one - but at this price it's just too good to say no.
Will just have to wait and see.

Also, Babs don't take any money until your order is ready to dispatch.
 
I rung staples and they basically have no idea what's going on, no records of orders etc.

Their stock got wiped out before they could react, and they have 500 more coming in tomorrow which will be going to the first 500 people who ordered today after the initial stock sold out, and they're also going to restrict it to one per customer, so what's going to happen to those who got in early with more than 1 in their order, I'm not sure.

But essentially, if you ordered from staples, grab another one from somewhere else if you can, as it sounds like a complete cluster**** there.

Managed to pick one up from a CPW store this morning, can't play with it as it requires a network to set up.

Don't know if the online CPW order went through and no longer care.

If android works properly on this then it will be a bit gutting having paid £400 for a galaxy tab a couple of weeks ago.

Just got my invoice from Babs! Looks like I've got one!

From Babs Twitter - "If you have received an order confirmation email for your HP TouchPad, then your order has been placed and accepted."
 
right so I am late very late...Went to purple **** retailers and they where sold out this morning. So doubt there is much change now.
 
I might end up having one spare. Only needed 3 but bought 4 while I was at it. Will know tomorrow if I have a spare one.
 
I'm going to sleep now, if anyone has a spare one going at some point I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands, 16gb or 32gb, either is fine. Thanks. :)
