***The Official NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Overclocking Thread***

What he doesn't say is that he went through EVGAs stock and cherry picked it :D.

This one is actually a reference 1570 model, standard clocks, luck of the draw!

My previous 260 was indeed one of the best from the first couple batches when they came out :) (would have been flashed to F T W < = bad word?)

Found how to change the voltage, Using nVidia inspector is key.

Currently 900/1800/2040 at 1.0v I'll see if I can get any more out of it later, how much is the maximum safe voltage?

Had a little play with a EVGA GTX570 HD SC.

Clocks for Heaven were 900/1800/1970 @ 1.075 voltage.

I also ran a 3D Mark 11 benchmark clocks were 890/1780/1970 @ 1.075 voltage.

Not quite a 570, but a 480 is pretty much the same thing. The core won't clock as high as many 570's but it does have a little extra memory bandwidth to balance things out. Processor is an i5 2500K @ Stock.

Stock Settings 700/1848 @ 0.95v

Nice rise in score there with you O/Cing and nice clocks to on a 480 :)

Nice score aswell. Your max FPS seems low compared to mine, how does that work ??

Not sure why, but I guess min and max speeds are just a "one-off" occurance during each benchmark. Perhaps it is the slight architectual differences between the cards, driver optimistaions (400 vs 500 series) or general general differences. Overall performance is pretty much equal with my min fps being higher, but max fps lower. I am sure it would be near impossible to tell the difference between the cards in gaming terms, although your 570 will run noticably quieter at stock settings than my 480.

MSI Afterburner is where i get my extra voltage from. The max voltage that you can use i believe is 1.100volts, not sure there is any other way apart from blowing the GPU up.

You have a 570 now easy? I'm sure I remember you as a big time advocate of the ATi cards back when I got my 570 6 months ago :p

I had a 6950 and flashed it to 6970 see sticky,

Sold that and got a GTX 570 to relieve some boredom

There are pros and cons of each.

One thing that sucks about the NV card is that you can't have 3 monitors off one card. Even for 2D desktop usage.

Having said that the GTX 570 is faster in metro :p

I just fancied and change while I was bored being off work :p

MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozer III OC

850 / 1700 / 1900 @stock voltage

temps didn't break 60

still seems low in comparison to everyone else's scores? any ideas?
