Just cancelled my order with Amazon. I just thought do myself, do I really need this and the hassle it is causing me doesn't make it worthwhile. I'll probably regret it.

The fact that they are so freely extending any reservations suggests they are confident of price cuts and are keen to get rid of them all. (as someone extending their reservation will likely go and pick it up)

Argos are a bunch of a lying toads. It has been six hours since I sent them a DM with my details to extend my reservation and they have done NOTHING.

I suspect they have mates in my local store.

I phoned the store and spoke to a nice woman who extended the reservation for me until the end of Saturday. She also said that they get price and offer changes on a Wednesday night ready for Thursday trading.

Ditto, I've called up several times and was assured by the last man I spoke to, that a box was set aside for DHL to collect from the warehouse which operates 24hrs. Still I'm mighty surprised I haven't got my tracking number, and also that I haven't heard from many others on here without theirs?! Considering I got confirmation of my order at 17.41, well before the price drop, I would have thought I'd be in there. Its not as though I was greedy, only the one 16gb for me.

One more thing I've not had money taken so far as my online lloyds account says, but maybe Dixons don't take before they give (lloyds is slow also)?

I'm in the USA until the end of the week, so I ordered one at Argos for delivery next week. I hope the price does get dropped, although it won't be hard to return it to the local store if they don't.
