Been out all day so how have people faired - ended up getting the 2 I wanted. Now my sister wants one but oh well too late - will see what hits the MM eventually. Actually had a good experience with PC World in the end for a reservation which hasnt happened before.

Any news on Argos though? I did reserve one to be delivered on Thursday but unsure what they are doing regards pricing.

Also Palm Pre 3 - is that getting cut? Liked what I saw when I played with the Touchpad just now - found the IMAP setup a bit annoying but thats my ISP and not the pad - though it took ages to pick up my wireless network...

Do Argos not do price matching, so if I go in with a Comet/PCW receipt, they'll match it? (If they haven't dropped the price tomorrow anyway)

Not anymore unfortunately. They used to years ago before the big boom in internet shopping and rapid price fluctuations. They had a 16 day price promise so if within 16 days of buying it you see it cheaper, they would refund the difference.

i am not showing it is on the way, i just want to post some helpful information. I learn a lot here, thanks to all .

I'm only messing. :) Good to have more people about, and hopefully more people to get involved with Andriod mods when the time comes! :D

I'm hoping Amazon will fill our order since I don't have any alternatives. It's the only shop that will accept a foreign credit card (and ship overseas too).

I was just playing with one that had Paperboy on it! the multitasking with this thing is insane and you can swipe up on the recent tasks display bit to end tasks (no one in the shop knew that). Amazing bit of kit for £89.

Anywho, was just going to ask if anyone that ordered from Dixons had any order tracking yet?

The use of gestures is very nice the physical home button is not really needed as a gesture will do the same thing.

using the tweaks described here really help speed it up by quite a lot http://forums.precentral.net/hp-touchpad/293028-new-touchpad-heres-your-get-started-guide.html
