Anyone got theirs reserved at Argos, text to 61201 the following:

5086043 <Your Post code>. Argos will text you back the cost of the touchpad and will tell you if it's in stock or not.

The Argos text reserve system seems to be showing the lower prices but the the online store does not?? So do people who have the reservation wait until the online price is reduced before going into the store??

Oh this is doing my head in! I have just received a dispatch email from Staples for the same order number as the Touchpad but it only says it contains the welcome pack?

Why would they send only the welcome pack via next day courier

oh please god say that the Touchpad is in there as well! It must be!

Seriously if this parcel i receive from Staples tomorrow is just a sodding welcome pack i might cry with dissapointment :p

I don't know anything about this device. Is there a way to get Android or Windows on it? I cant imagine many apps being available for it now!

do they have them in stock at the store near you?
tbh Argos have made the system unfair by allowing people to extend their reservations. They should just allow 24hrs reservations like they do on all of their other items. I am sure all store stock has now been reserved nationwide by dealhunters and people using stock checker websites and those people have extended their reservations so are sitting pretty until the price drop is announced.
