Whaat. I used to play that map pretty much exclusively and never get bored

Was in arguably one of the top 10 clans in the UK at the games peak, travelled all over the UK attending lan competitions and look back at it as some of my fondest gaming memories.

Saying that I am so glad the game is finally on its way out (Four / Five years too late)

When I go on I can't find any servers for some reason. No problem with CSS though. Any ideas?

My server browser is the same, it seems to find nothing but if you give it time it normally comes up with them. Something's definitely not quite right with it though...

The server browser for 1.6 is broken. When you do manage to get some results they're usually "fake" servers.

I'd say this, but it's only because I'm used to it. It's a little less forgiving to noobs I think, and I've found that being a 1.6 player CS:S can really annoy me sometimes when it doesn't quite work the same way.

Far easier? "Easier" is fair enough but far easier is just stupid. The movement is sticky, the guns reward spraying far too much, amongst other things. CSS is just reactions and map knowledge whereas 1.6 factors a few more skill elements into the mix. There's a reason the 1.6 competitive scene thrived compared to source.

I used to love CS 1.6 - but I stopped playing when CS:S came out as I just didn't like it as much.
