Well I just spoke to my guy at BT after a few of your comments on here and he says:

1. They are definitely getting 500+ in this morning
2. It could never have been just "10 or 15" for back orders as he system shows they need over 150 for orders taken yesterday
3. My order for 3 is on the system and as soon as stock goes live, my order will go through.

Not sure why other people are getting different answers. We have been a Babs/BT business customer for years and I have no reason not to beleive my rep, after all he came good with 4 for me yesterday.
 
Hmmm, looking at my Argos email again there doesn't seem to be a reservation number! Strange, maybe they will issue one tomorrow or I'm too late.
 
Aargh -I am awaiting delivery form Argos today. It is marked as dispatched. Fingers crossed it arrives. The waiting is making me very nervous!

I think I may end up with 2 touchstone stands by the end of the day. Are people having trouble getting hold of them? If so if I get the spare I will make it available on mm for a London collection.

im going to ring again and if i get the same answer im going to start questioning them. can you order over the phone now ?

Hope you get your remaining, I also have family & friends pestering me for one and I don't even know if im 100% getting mine yet!

Hopefully, I tried all the stores as far as Newry on monday morning, all stock was gone :(

Ordered one from CPW on Tuesday night got a confirmation email nothing else but when I go to track my order it says this: "Your order is being processed. Your order should have arrived on Tue, 23 Aug 2011." Any ideas what that means? Have I secured one? confusing to say the least!
 
Same, and the touchstone as couldn't be faffed trying to buy one from elsewhere

Confirmation email came through before the last webpage even loaded to confirm order! It's getting battered already!
 
lol phoned, got same person, so i said "i know someone whos just ordered 3 as it seems you are getting stock in, im not blaming anyone here but it seems im not being told the complete truth." her tone changed she got a bit edgy, put me on hold, came back told me sorry, took my name and numbe and will phone me back and said " im sorry if ive been lying to you i dont want you thinking i was giving out false information"
 
Have tried ordering back orders through the BT sales line. Their computer would not allow them to place a back order in case. Looks like you have to be a special person like Greebo, since just ordinary businesses are niot having any luck!
