This does not > any Nationalities. :p

Gozitan > * :p Best holiday of my life that one.

Speaking about languages here :P And Gozo doesn't have its own language, although they do have their own accent, or should I say, dialect :P

Also, how can people prefer Gozo to Malta, its a DEAD place. 1 place to shop, 1 'night club' open once a month.

Everywhere is close though, so that's a plus, but hey, so is malta :P

EDIT: matt_fsr, Malta > All :P

Sorry to hear that you broke up.

Typical lines of "it's not you its me" or "im unhappy but really giving a reason"

And he will try and make you jump through hoops to get the exact reason. it really depends on some factors, could be that he's boored with the relationship being in his twenties and realised that he's just not ready for a serious relationship, could be the sex life especially if he's tired all the time ect..

I had the same issue with my ex, wanted a break from me for no apparent reason. instead of dwelling over it, i didn't text her at all for about 2 weeks, then out of the blue she asked how i was and that it's strange not seeing me, we did get back together but only lasted a few months.

This could be a sure sign of things to come, and it's important that you look after yourself and move on, im now married to a wonderful wife with a 6 month daughter, and my ex is lonely and single and looks like a troll, Best things to come to those who wait, trust me bitter sweet revenge.

Churchills in Xlendi bay, Oleanders in Xaghra Sq and the dive school at Marsalforn. Oh and the best pizza I ever had from a British Ex pat run restaurant on a backstreet near Xaghra Sq.

On topic, my ex who I spent over a year with broke up because she didn't see the relationship going anywhere. Maybe he is being all old and broody wanting kids?

Have you ever posted his picture here without his approval?

Were you cheating on him either physically, emotional or psychologically (Like being so happy when posting here than when talking to him)?

Usually when every thing looks getting better for you and he says its worse for him then you may have been unknowingly pressurizing him to follow your path.

Also you said he always comes home when tired a typical example of a cheating man.

And the most likely your nagging/talking too much which you call "talking about it". It realy goes bad with a man in problems.

Why did he sell his car? could he be having financial problems other than the love for a bike he told you.

The good new is that if he is unhappy with you around then leave him alone because he will only become worse and return back. Make sure he first begs 100 times before you accept him back.

Not particularly. But then I would say that.

edit: hurfdurf... I don't get it, are you insulting me...?

Nah, just trying to give advice over the Internet to a stranger, something I try and avoid normally but you said a dumb thing about a girl in a dress so I was responding anyway.

I remember myself going to Churchills in Xlendi each year with my family :P (Xlendi beach is now full of drainage, as some pipe broke a few summers back. People still go to swim, but its not 100% safe, its like 95% safe, but I stil don't like the place :P)
Don't think I've ever been to the rest, and if I did, it was ages ago, cause as I said, Gozo is boring for me :D

I did go once this summer though, like 1 week back, with my friends. Went for a day in the early morning to the night. We went to Mgarr ix-Xini, and had to do that 45 minute walk in that sun :P You probs didn't go as its quite a secluded beach, but its amazing. You have from where to jump (pretty high too) and where to grab a snack. Then in the afternoon we went to Marsalforn to swim. Not a bad place to swim, but I prefer mgarr ix xini.

Did you go to Ramla Beach? its soo nice, and sandy (its in the name, DUH!). We were gonna go there instead of Mgarr ix Xini, and thank God we didn't, a guy died that very same day :/

Anyway, just so this post is OT, kaffe, to take a break, come to Malta/Gozo :D

Shame about Xlendi. Is Ramla near the lagoon? Think I drove past it once. Highlight of the trip for me was the Basilica though.

Oh and Kaffe, if you do go, bring me along :D

As I said, people still go swim, and there still is the best ice cream in the whole Malta/Gozo, but the water ain't too good :P

What lagoon :P There are a few lagoons in Gozo. This is Ramla:

And yeah, the Ta' Pinu Church. Did you go in? You can go even if you are not religious. There is a section, in the back of the church, where people offer stuff to Madonna ta' Pinu for saving their lives. Stuff such as their casts, pictures etc. There are mainly letters of people who thank ta' Pinu, for example, people who had very bad car crashes, close to death, and they survived.

One I still remember is a letter of an American, thanking Madonna ta' Pinu for saving him from the Twin Tower thing. He had gone to Gozo, more importantly, Ta' Pinu the summer before, as his wife was Gozitan, and he got a statue, which he put on his desk where he worked (he worked in the twin Towers). When the Twin Towers got hit by the aeroplane, he grabbed the statue and ran. He mentioned many things he came across, fires etc. (don't remember much more, because as I said, its been some while) and he was hearing a voice, which he says was Madonna ta' Pinu, directing him where to go. He got out there in one piece.

Its an amazing place to go, even if you are not religious. Just seeing these letters (pictures, drawings, memorials such as helmets etc.) makes you happy. its a truly wonderful place!

Have all the white knights not yet woken up?

Maybe they've all been reduced to bitter, jaded husks of men after seeing all their messages "read deleted" on PoF. :p

...so they've stayed in Ye Olde Tavern to drown their sorrows. :p

The dress broke :(

I was kindly told earlier that he'd been unhappy for months, i'd just not seen it. But if a kick in the teeth after a good day if actually feint better.

"have you been drinking?" you may ask, and I will reply "yes I have".
