Hmm that says the 64GB version uses a 1.5GHz Snapdragon, I wonder if its the same chip in the 1.2GHz models? Hopefully means the overclock option is 100% stable.

Just picked up one of each model from the local Argos, thanks to evgenyy!

I will have a very happy girlfriend tomorrow, and will be letting a mate have the other one at cost price (plus a beer )

They ended putting each one through on a different till to get around the one per person thing, the manager okayed it as they were different models

Apparently so. It's easy to clock the cores to 1.5 because it's the same chip... How true that actually is is another matter.

Hopefully! I managed to place an order, then gave the link to my office mate and he then got that error.

I'm still semi holding my breath for my Amazon orders from Monday @ midnight. I'm also tempted to go to Argos tomorrow morning. If they've got any in stock that are reserved then that's against what they say (that reservations only last 1 working day).

I ordered from that dodgy HP link and the charge is pending on my CC. (Just one 16GB, I'm not greedy)

In other words they have pre-deducted the full amount but will need to confirm the charge with my CC company when/if they accept the order.

It does all seem unlikely though

it was the hp store we ordered from.... when I ordered only the 16gb ones were left.
