So tempted to risk trying to order one from a john lewis store which is claiming to have a 32gb model in stock (only one left in all of JL) but I'd probably get in trouble for reserving it!

Must resist button ... >.<
 
My epp order (legitimate) which I placed only a minute after the promotion went live to employees is now showing backorder until 07/09/2011. Frustrated since I ordered so quickly.

Strange as JL sent me 2 emails saying that this product is out of stock and wont be sold any longer

Mine is still sitting on "Your order is being processed. Your order should have arrived on Thu, 25 Aug 2011." - I'd like to see them get that to me today :p
 
My Amazon Order that was completed at 00:08 was cancelled.

My Staples order (at 9:50am) on Tuesday was cancelled too.

Im annoyed...

Any stores I have visited all said that staff were getting them, or none were available.
 
Lol, i am losing my sanity over this :p
i have had every indication that i am going to get one from staples. Conf email, security check, welcome pack sent, and last night the money was actually taken off my credit card properly (not just applied for anymore, it's on my statement).

But still no despacth email! Arghh! :( :p
 
I just phoned CPW and I think phoning early means they are less annoyed at all the touchpad questions as when he asked what I ordered and said touchpad he just laughed a little.

Anyway as soon as I phoned he confirmed I was getting one, delivered tomorrow and then the online tracking was updated to processing so I think any CPW buyers worried, just phone.

Ref number was 42XX

Just a heads up guys........

EDIT: Only downside is these are now costing £127 inc shipping compared to the ones I got at £113 the other day.
 
I do find it hilarious that after all the talk of community and how many people were getting not one has been offered for sale on the MM or any interest in the wanted threads :D

Not that I'm complaining I'd have ebayed them as well ;)

I currently have at least 4 spare and will be answereing wanted adds in MM later today and will be selling at cost. ;)
