They still were profiting though. I got 4 at £113 from them on Tuesday and surprise, surpise when new stock came in today they were £127. I suppose them making £14 per unit sold more helps cover their costs of their site crashing on Tuesday and all the calls they have handled but still smacks a little.

Anyway, I still wasnt going to argue with them and just said "yes please, would it be okay for me to have 10?" :D

Exactly! They were just under £125 before delivery. In fact my rep did mention when he said they were more money now that he had being told they couldn;t sell them for less money than what they cost to buy from HP and that was the price. Who knows whether true or not.

However, there has been lots of talk the last 2 days about HP having 2000 units left in warehouses to distribute and that every buyer was trying to get hold of them. Perhaps they had to pay a little bit extra to get them?
 
For what it's worth I've only had confirmation of 1 my Touchstone docks being on the way with a possibility of 3 more. It may transpire that my house mate is happy charging by cable so all 3 spares would be made available to the lovely forum members here should the other 3 turn up of course. At cost! :cool:
Oh and preferential treatment given to anyone able to supply me a Pre 3 at whatever the final reduced price might be since it looks like they're being tied to contracts by those nasty CFW ####'s.
All subject to the things turning up ;)

I haven't posted much over my years browsing these forums but always found them useful and helpful (along with the store itself!) (but not the motors pedant trolls, they can bite my ###)


PS: Might have a spare wireless keyboard too but no confirmation on either of the 2 I ordered yet :(
 
I'd gladly take one off you as well Greebo, though I know there's loads of people who expressed an interest before me in this thread and you should absolutely sell them to those first.

Still, if you've got one left I'd love to have it flogged. To me. I'll open a thread in the Wanted forum for anyone who wants to unload their spare pad onto me!

How many of the people who ordered through the HP dodgy link, have had their order canceled?
