I think these orders will more than likely get canceled anyway, it was my last shot at getting one besides my Wanted thread on MM.

My theory is retailers are sending the touchpads back because of the hassle of getting the price subsidised, so hp are putting the numbers up themselves before actually receiving them.

Maybe wishfull thinking though ;D

Yeah it is worth a shot anyway. And if they don't refund the price difference you can just send it back.

Mine has arrived....just unboxed it and setting it up. The orientation is a bit too sensitive though compared to my ipad.

If HP are getting stock back from various retailers then you might imagine that it is being "processed" by HP.

Maybe that is why their system keeps opening up these links and they have to manually close them down?

I can't think of any other reason.
