Guy on twitter saying that he ordered one of the full price ones from the site this afternoon, got the confirmation and delivery email and then a little while later got the cancellation email ¬_¬

I really cannot understand the logic at all..

This is something like the 10th time they have made purchasing available on their official store, since they have apparently been out of stock with no chance of getting more.
 
what's the bet that there are several automated systems from several sub-departments that all can edit the single shop.

The single shop actually being an amalgamation of several shops.
 
Made an order some 30min ago for the full price 16Gb and it got cancelled. Strange that the dodgy link hasn't beeen cancelled for several days and they were so fast cancelling this one.

You maybe right, but... he also contacted HP several times which brought unneccessary attention to his order, which could have made no difference or it could have made ALL the difference!

As there's nothing to lose, I'm just gonna sit tight and see how it plays out.

Oh yeah i'm definitely gonna see how it plays out, i'm not calling them up or cancling it myself thats for sure!

Possibly because I used Paypal, or the PayPal address did not match my delivery address so you might still have hope. The £69 was against my PayPal though so it's not like they could not get the funds.

My order from PCWorld has just been dispatched via DHL. Anyone else got a similar email? I have a tracking number but it isn't valid until the parcel hits the depo I believe.

looks like pc world has had a second delivery thats it's using on backorders.

I think I'm just about out of puff on getting one of these.

I stayed up to 1:30am in the morning of my Birthday (23rd) trying to find one. Amazon failed and CPW links wouldn't work. Also the other 10 sites I tracked that night didn't drop in price. So the rest of the day followed with a 90 mile trek to Perth for equipment to then drop a 10kg tape deck on my small toe on my right foot. By the time I checked it later that afternoon it was black and blue and swollen :(
By the time 5pm came I cancelled my trip out for Sushi and went to my bed early limping! Worst birthday ever! Also there was a pair of prostitutes (Yes I live in a dodgy area of Edinburgh) arguing below my bedroom window at 1:30 as well as I went to bed.

Then HP cancelled my order today lol, I wonder if my wanted thread will get answered Here :o
Curse you Touchpad, you unholy beastie from the hell!!!
