If anyone has a spare one I'd like one. Think I'll give up searching for one now. Looks like I'll have to save the pennys up for an iPad or Galaxy Tab.

I find this hilarious just how desperate everyone is for one of these devices. Would you be as desperate if there was no demand or hype surrounding it?

Anyways, Also, Greebo seems to be getting A HELL OF A LOT of attention regarding a possible 1 Touchpad - For all we know, he could be lying out of his arse, just to get whatever he needs for the 1 Touchpad he currently owns. ( this isn't a personal attack - this is an indication of how desperate the market has become for these elusive devices).

I've been a slave to the hype. A hypebeast. More so for the fact that it's a bargain rather than anything else. A week ago I fought with myself regarding whether or not I needed a tablet. I decided I never. Just because one comes on the market for 75% still doesn't warrant the fact I need one. I just want one now. All the chasing I've done warrants one but I still don't need one.

..If I needed one, The Touchpad certainly wouldn't be my option. I just want it because everyone else has it. Maybe I should just be different and buy the Galaxy 10.1. It's not the same though as everyone wants the Touchpad and not the 10.1. If it's justified, and required, money doesn't become the issue so obviously I'd go for the 10.1........ but it's not the Touchpad......

.......It's as though the Touchpad is now a mystical device that's always just inches out of my reach. For owners of it, you won't understand but for people who have experienced what I've experienced, you will completely understand.

I wouldn't say it's good. ( I'm going by youtube videos and friend's reviews)

If it came on the market for £89.99 I wouldn't be interested - would you? WebOS ha no future... You're literally paying for hardware. That's it. The only hope the hardware has is for an Android port.

Im perfectly happy with my galaxy s2 - does everything I need it to and its actually portable. I would feel like a bit of a loon using a tablet on a train and I would have to bring a bag especially for it. At home for even more productivity I have my monster pc, or a vaio laptop if the couch beckons. Normally I have to talk myself out of buying new un-needed tech, but I cant justify a product that would only be used while doing a number 2 lol. However I know some people may need one (or at least think they do) so fair enough, but if I get one its going straight on the bay.

Yes, I would say it's good. The hardware is great and software covers the basics very well.

It's not an iPad or Galaxy 10.1 beater but I would take it over a Vega or Hannspad any day based on the responsiveness of the input and quality of the screen.

You're referencing the touchpad here right?

It's not though, it's actually a decent bit of kit. I haven't been near my ipad2 since this arrived. And it ain't that far behind, in fact in some ways I rather prefer it.
