Just found a touchstone in my local carphone warehouse. I have put it to one side but can't decide if I want one. This whole endevour is getting more and more expensive!

mine is still marked as a new order and in progress... I think I will give them a call next week as money is still being on hold on my CC

Same here, and doubt anything will change to that over the weekend, but I think unless you need that money, worth to just let sleeping dogs lie so to speak, and keep your fingers and toes crossed, you never know, with stock being returned to HP from resellers you might be in with a chance. Slim perhaps, but tbh we're cluching at straws here now.

Just scoured town and there's nothing available. Unsurprising, really. I guess it's the Member's Market for me and the crossing of my fingers!

Just found this

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-news/how-to-improve-the-performance-of-your-new-hp-touchpad/3866

Its instructions on changing settings to speed it up, changing logging settings alone speeds it up nicely.

Not seen this in the thread either.

Free 50 gig lifetime storage, just install the app....

If only we had a thread with all of this information in, in the first post. ;)

There will certainly be stock not yet sold but it might be "spoken for".

Either outstanding orders (Amazon, take note) or those in the biz might want one or twenty for the wife 'n kids and their good friend Ebay...

Damn 32gb and 64gb sold out in about 5 minutes, still 16gb left though!

I got a 64gb one and going to sell my 32gb to a mate who couldnt get one.
