Is this disabled parking space official?

unfortunately you're wrong and it pointless arguing because the law states that disabled badge holders are allowed to park on double yellows for the reasons we've laid out.
For as long as the law allows it, blue badge holders will choose to park on double yellows because they can. To make lives easier for themselves.
Quite why you're so against this i have no idea.

So you think disabled people should have to drive to a different town rather than park outside the place they need on the high street in the local town, because you don't like it?
Shall we ban the vans from loading and unloading on double yellow lines as well? Why should your idea only apply to disabled people?
2 reasons.
1. Equality.
2. A member of my family for many years has fooled the system into thinking he's disabled, for which he receives many perks, benefits, blue badges etc. He does not deserve any of these and it's the number of people like him who abuse the system who were found to be able to work etc in the recent government clamp down on disability benefits and the like.

They can NEVER have equality because they are disabled! They would love to be equal to us but circumstances prevent this. Therefore as a developed society we alter some of our laws to help them.
So you want to remove the benefit from genuinelly disabled people because your family contains scumbags?

You cannot argue with what the sign says and I didn't 'shop it' (well it's on Street View for all to see).
With your guide there is absolutely no reason for the sign to say free parking for disabled badge users because that's the 'norm'.
It says it because in other parts of stoke disabled badge users do have to pay in normal parking spaces.
In fact Mrs Dimple got fined about 3 years ago when she put her Mums blue badge in the car and parked without buying a ticket.
You should read all the thread.
I explained that what you see on Street View looks nothing like in real life - there are no words on the road and if there are lines they are very faded.

Exactly and because the area isn't marked correctly it makes it look like all the street goes under what is says on the sign.

Have you any idea how you are coming across in this thread?
Do you seriously think that the best idea is to simply have disabled people stay at home and have everyone else run errands for them?
