im not homophobic but it was actually another complete boring waste of time that i skipped through until i found him getting stabbed, shot, beaten by a load of Italians in a freezer which made it slightly worth watching then skipped until the end then cba'd and just closed the window.

Yep I thought that too, how many is that 3 so far? no real need for any of them it just seemed like the director thought "hey I know lets have some gay sex scenes".
It's interesting really. The gay sex scene in an earlier episode was inter-cut with a straight sex scene, and it made me realise how much is acceptable if it's a man and a woman together. Neither scene was more graphic than the other, yet apparently the BBC cut the gay one down/out for over here? Obviously this time they didn't.
I didn't realise people still got their knickers in a twist over the idea of a couple of naked guys.

Ahhhh, the tired classic fallback to every argument....no not scared.....at all. For example it's fine in True Blood as it's relevant and not so in your face. And yes because I'm straight i wouldn't have minded so much if it was two women, but get this, i would have found it just as boring and pointless, there's porn for that too and probably fast forwarded anyway.

Sorry, I still think it is a Doctor who spinoff and should be contained within that to an extent.
I dont mind the more adult themes but they should fit the episode, story, and not just be because it is RTD. Doctor Who is better without him, and I think torchwood would be too!

Well last series of doctor who had the fat one and the other one, gay army bods, named that for no reason, in place for no reason. They are throwing things in very much on purpose, trying to force 'normality' of gayness, but mainly it isnt normal gayness they are promoting, they are promoting some twisted oddities as normal gay people.
It simply isnt representative of the situation, i dont think they are helping with integration and tolerance one bit.

I loved the first seasons of this and the last couple of story versions but this is utter rubbish the story has promise but it is so disjointed i have no idea what is going on.
The one thing in this so far that is really doing my nut in is all the gay scenes i have nothing against anyone who is gay but please i really don't want to see two men going at it in what seems like every episode so far. completely over the top intact i honestly can't remember seeing any other series with as much hetro scenes in it bar that gladiator series but at least with that i knew what i was singing up for before watching.

Hasn't Captain Jack always been a very sexualised character?
The only complaint I have is there was no chemistry at all. I can obviously believe they'd get it on that quick, but the suggestion that it was more than sex, whilst sex was all there was, doesn't portray any sort of relationship at all. But then I'm not a guy, gay sex scenes don't bother me, the lack of chemistry/story believeability that a guy who shagged Jack a couple of times was that besotted by him he'd stalk him for centuries does bother me.
It is like bad sex though, after each episode all I'm thinking "Isn't it over yet?" The way it's building up feels like the end will be done in one episode.

After seeing the 9th episode, you're right
I won't say anything more, but it's not amazing. Episode 10 will have to be something spectacular to save this season!
well that was good. I really enjoyed that, can't wait til "next week" to see the finalie, it better be good and tie everything up. I'm guessing that the miracle was made from jacks blood somehow although still trying to work out what all the things flying into the crevice were.
I assume by all this it shows that jacks body always wants to be together if possible and may give some indication of how he came to look like the face of no, although I could be reading too much into it. I will be very ****** if they kill jack off though
