Even some Jewish people think Israel was a mistake, their greed (Ultrazionists etc) will cost them greatly, much more so than a few rockets every now and then.
Of course it does allow them to play the "Woe is me" card quite often, the US cant do anything without being embarrassed by Israel, not the mention the "apparent" conspiracy surrounding it, which to be honest doesn't seem to unlikely to be the truth, as well as the Israeli spy the US caught.
I have no ill feeling towards the religion nor the people in general, but this idea of pandering to their every need for something that happened 70 years ago is becoming futile.

Give it a rest, you are embarrassing yourself, it is not the Europeans who have an obsession with Jerusalem, it is the adherents of the three Abrahamic Religions, which for your information includes Islam.

Fascinating subject and there is a lot of historical backup for this, which the long and the short of it is that Israel, the Jewish people, are God's chosen people (chosen to be God's mouthpiece here on earth) but they messed up by disobeying God on many things, idol worship, disobedience, colusion and much more. They are going through a time of trial but will be restored to God one day.
The point is that no other nation in history has gone through as much persicution as the Jew but still exists this day........ that in itself (if all facts are logically considered) is evidence that God exists.
Why does everybody hate them? Well, not everyone, but most unfortunately, but the bible says that Israel will be a 'cup of trembling' to all nations (Zechariah 12:2).
I am 100% sure that over the next few years, anti-semetic sentiments will be far stronger, more national socialist groups will spring up and nations around Israel will contest even more strongly that the land they hold onto is not theirs (which is not true, read story of Abraham).
There is a lot of conjecture as to why Hitler hated them so much, all I can say is that there is much evidence that points to those high up in Nazism, particularly Hitler, were also into the occult (Dietrich Eckart, Madame Helena Blavatsky, Guido Von List, Thule Society).
Again, whether or not you believe in the bible, God, Satan etc, the evidence supports the fact that Satan is the father of the Occult, whatever name you want to call him (Pan, etc), Satan hates God, which a logical conclusion is Satan hates the Jew, God's chosen people.
There is much more to it than that but I've done quite a bit of background reading into Freemasonry (was asked to join, said no), the occult and not too much but a bit of reading on National Socialism.

I'm a forum (secular) Jew with strong ties with Israel.
I also belong to a UK based Jewish organisation that works for justice for Palestinians.
The views expressed in this forum are exactly what I would expect from an internet forum.
Many views are sincerely expressed and logically presented with a sound understanding of history.
Others are evidence that care in the community has failed.

How can such a small country called Isreal cause so much unrest in the middle east with few people compared with the surrounding countries ? they could move Isreal to Antarctica or more remote in the first place then there would be no unrest i guess that now makes me antisemitic,neo nazis for pointing Isreal in a negative spotlight im sorry.

Although Israel has played dirty in the past and certainly isn't innocent, it is the sentiment of virtually every country surrounding them to wipe them off the face of the map, this they have declared publically on many occasions. They feel God has promised them this land, many disagree.
It is only really the support of America that has really kept Israel out of real harms way for so long, unfortunately for them the current president is not so keen to support them (do your homework and you will see a lot of behind the scenes support is being taken away).
By the by, it is interesting to note that before 1948 Israel was virtually barren, you look at the country now and it has massive exports of grain, greenhouse crops and citrus fruits. A lot of herbs are produced there which are imported locally.

You do realise the land of Israel wasn't chosen arbitrarily, but has massive religious significance?

Interesting - Exporting the food they make from stolen land is something well known within the muslim communities. For example - Dates, They export them bigtime over here to the west, badged under various 'arabic' sounding names to make them appeal to muslims here.
Problem is Muslims here have clocked onto this and are boycotting produce from Israel - especially dates as they now have that knowledge. What does Israel do? This is a point to note about why Israel is disliked - They import them to america, THEN import them to the UK so that labelling can state it was imported from other than Israel. They do the same thing with Tomato plantations stolen from the land they stole from Palestinians also. Anti-semetism claims are rife in the UK - as soon as you mention Israel or a jew!.
This is the problem with Israel - The lies and media manipulation is horrendously out of control. I wouldn't mind but when it influences media policies here in the UK it pee's me off, as I pay the BBC (for example) for an unbiased opinion - not one that has its hands tied behind its back when it merly mentions the name Israel! The jewish lobby groups are the biggest the UK has! Anti-semetism claims are rife in the UK - as soon as you mention Israel or a jew!.
I think someone here said it best earlier on - The 'holocaust' card is only going to give them sympathy for so long - its starting to wear thin now
