*** League of Legends ***

Have made some improvements in my playing doing a few randoms and a couple of games with Th3D0n, getting to grips with Ashe so far and looking at other characters now in the odd practice game to get a feel for their abilities/builds.

Is it possible to get the mumble password? I am now very much looking to get away from randoms and into some nice games with a bit of banter to enjoy myself after work etc. if there are enough like minded people in the lower levels to get a few games going or even if any higher levels want to play a few too :p
 
I think I'm at a stage with LoL that I have to buy/start playing viable competitive champs. I'm level 26 now and Pantheon and Lux just don't cut it anymore. I've played Panth 90% of the time and Lux the other 10%.
Both are a blast to play but I'm starting to feel like I'm just letting team comps down with either of those two picks.
I just don't know who I'm really interested to play as......

I have never had to buy competitive champs AKA flavour of the month but just play and have fun but buy champs you think can help the team.I usually play AD but im sick of peopole insta locking and leaving me to end up picking AP Amumu .On my EU account this isnt a prob as i have loads of IP to play with and can buy a whole rune page if i need.
 
Oooh, just in the process of loading up the game onto my laptop after the time away and...do my eyes decieve me looking at the website, do we finally have a new map?! :D

Yeah can't stand those idiots, and the best part is they lay the blame on you or try to tell you who to pick.

Both are great, it's your team that is letting you down by not creating the chances that you can take advantage of.
 
I'm quite disappointed with the changes they made to the healers. Taric is my favourite character and they really really nerfed imbue without buffing his attack that much.

My Taric is pretty damn offensive as it is as well
 
Normal Draft Mode is on the horizon, they just need to test it some more.

I don't really liked ranked since everyone takes it so seriously, but I do like being able to counter pick, I am excited.

I know folk point the finger at Flash a lot for being so overpowered that it shifts the entire way the game is played but does anyone else think the Banshee's Veil item really needs looked at also? I could understand if it was just a CC blocker but the fact that it negates any skill-based initiation just strikes me as being way too strong. Especially when it pops up again every 45 seconds.
 
Solo queue is so unpredictable as far to make it ridiculous.



Just had this game, both nice team comps, game on. Caitlyn and I steam roled bot lane, nocturne never showed up so she could hang around on low health and continue farming, 5 minutes bf sword, Annie wtf afk/leaves. Enemy is flaming themselves and complaining in chat deeply unhappy about the whole thing.

And yet, even then, the next game its equally likely i will have sorakas score here, because my lane partner feeds, there is nobody to support and the team completely fails to form a cohesive whole.

edit: In the very next game, the captain declared himself as ad carry and banned his pick because he didnt realise we were still in ban mode....

Nooooo my 7 win Teemo streak has finally ended :(

This was despite us managing to completely screw over the enemy jungler (fiddle) and managing to score 3 kills before we even got into lane!

Our problem was we had Panth and Talon, both built glass canon and are completely useless late game.

Also another pet hate of mine is when people manage to finally break their tower they feel the need to roam and do nothing apart from leech your farm and let their own lane get farmed up/destroyed whilst not accomplishing anything themselves. Annoying!
 
Did 7 ranked games last night, won 6. Went from 1256 to 1377. Be nice if I could get the same luck today and get to gold before the ELO reset as I want that J4 skin!

One of the games I failed like a baws with Vayne, I was 0/7 before 15 mins, I was getting flamed like a baws it was funny. I was against Garen, Sona bot and all that would happen is Garen would silence, spin, noc their jungler would dive in and I was dead, not a thing I could do, I had the highest CS though lol.

My other games I played as Mord which was funny, I didn't do amazingly good but everyone would focus me and by the time I died 4 of their team were dead. Was against an amazing Irelia who was prob the best I ever seen, a 12 min Thornmail though made her upset :D Then I tried jungling as Udyr and owned hard :) Some good games.

I think it's mainly down to some people wanting to play the game more seriously (or less seriously for that matter) than others so some people don't want to play with others for whatever reason, or should I say some people only want to play with certain people :)

I'm always like "Please don't ban Mord, I'm a beast with him" They ban say Amumu, other team ban say GP and Orianna, then my team ban Mord and I'm second pick... I'm like dude wtf? Normal response is - "Sorry I wasn't reading chat."

Solo top with a few different champs, jungle or support. I tend to find myself filling in the gaps since I usually find there's at least one role missing from the team. AP mid is definitely my weakest as I only really play Annie or Zilean in this role (Zilean is underated imo).

With regard to banning it does depend who gets first pick and whether you want to take the chance on the opposing team picking that champ first. If I'm first player but not first pick I'll ban the likes of Annie, Amumu, GP, Morde, Orianna or Brand.
 
Brand is horrible, in that game where I fed like a boss Brand had like 16 kills at 30 mins, his ulti would 2 shot me as Vayne -.-

Yea I must admit I'm the same as you,

Tanky DPS top (Nasus/Mord/Irelia/J4/Yorick) can jungle Udyr/Noc or Mid Vlad (Pretty good vlad I think or Orianna although she is always banned lol) and can play Vayne.
