if you search there for '5970' as anyone whos after one would do.. then click 'uk only' like a lot of peeps would do... theres only 3 available for sale in the uk, maybe the people searching would like to see a 4th one for sale.. one that isnt actually available but could serve as a warning for anyone bidding on a 5970 to check the pics and make sure the seller isnt trying to mug you off with an empty box by acting dumb

I know this has been reported on a couple of occasions so I'm surprised to see the above item is still listed on your auction site.

It's abundantly clear that the seller is clearly trying to trick people into believing there selling something that they don't actually have which evident by the photographs used by the seller.

Firstly if this was really meant to be a 'radeon 5970' you should see a PCB (printed circuit board) board through the casing also there should be a metal bracket a front that hold the front of the card to back of the case. Secondly the seller even admits that there selling something that doesn't belong to them which is surely theft.

I'm going to check to see if this item is still listed tomorrow afternoon and if you've decided to leave open then I will report to my uncle who is the copy editor at the Evening Standard.

Not, i know of someone who's boyfriend has left her and she has found a 5970 in a drawer. In a later post you say you don't want to rip her off by not giving her much money for the 5970, WHAT! Do you know how e-bay works? It's an auction!

I thought the same too, also if i saw a 5970 at bargain price on ebay (owing to bad listing) the last thing i would do would be post a message here to let everyone else know and bid against me, just would not make sense, sorry guys....but id take the bargain all for myself

All this said i doubt that the OP is also the ebayer (he/she sounds to young to be moving house / owning air conditioners, actually "buying" BueRay's as appose to downloading them, etc unless this is all part of the bull****. No offence meant to OP though - (watch this comment come back and bite me on the --- as OP will be a 75 year old hard core gamer!...
