Feeling wintery?

The air feels crisper, not as humid anymore, still very nice though! Leaves are turning yellow though :(

Only a few more weeks left to enjoy the bike and still no bloody tyres!!!

I've never understood why people are not a fan of Christmas. Generally it means time off work to spend with friends and family. What's bad about that?

Years of working in retail have left me disillusioned with the real 'meaning' of the season. I'm not a religious person at all and I disagree with the notion that you have to spend large amounts of money on carp for people that they'll probably never use or end up returning (probably). I do however agree with your point that it’s good to see family and friends but TBH I can do that anytime I want - thus Christmas is kind of meaningless to me

Have you got kids?

I was similar in thinking to you, but when you have kids it reawakens the magic :) It did for me anyway.

Not atm but I imagine if I ever did then I would imagine that Crimbo would have more meaning and I would enjoy it, maybe I'll come spend Christmas with you this year eh? :o

You might be able to, but for a lot of people Christmas is the most convenient time, with quite a lot of people being off work on the same day.

Fair play I'm just saying for me in particular I'm lucky to be in the position where I can see them year round :)

The thing I hate the most is the clocks going back and with that the onset of late afternoon darkness.

I'm very apathetic about Christmas itself, as a 20 year old uni student who just had 2 months off, and has 1 month left of his summer holiday, whilst having a month off at Christmas is nice, its nothing spectacular. All my family live abroad apart from parents who I see pretty often, and I'm old enough not be excited by presents.

However, I have no problem with the season of Winter, I hope there is snow! :D

I'm sat here in shorts and T-shirts, the sun is shining with only a minimal amount of cloud in the sky, lovely outside temperature, and I'm in Coventry.
