What 1200W power supply

But it makes high sound so no

Well actually Jonnyguru never tested the 1250W version.

And by the time something is suggested you come back saying it costs too much. Its difficult to suggest something for someone living in a different part of the world.

Can pay 1800 check prisjakt.nu it finds the cheapest in sweden

Have a question the hale seems good but its not fully modular. And is 1000w enuf for overclocking and future x2 sli/cf setups? And will the cables be long enuf? My last psu was corsair ax850

Having fully modular is stupid, you must use a 24pin ATX and 8pin ATX and a few SATA etc

The cable lengths are here in the specs - http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/power_supplies/hale90_1000w

1000W is good enough for SLI GTX580 - http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-580-sli-review/14

Have a look at the specs for the AX850 at corsair.com it has the lengths there.

And the newer cards should be made on a smaller manufacture process so use similar power despite the transistor increase.

That psu makes high noise on high load jonny guru said that in hes review and some other reviews said the same

Well, yeah, it would. 1200W at about 85% efficiency is 180W wasted as heat under full load. Thats the same amount of heat given off by an overclocked quad core processor. The processor gets a massive heatsink, complete with one or two good fans, or a waterblock. The power supply gets an awkward airflow route, one 120mm fan, and the best they can do with heatsinks within the atx packaging.

Every 1200W, air cooled, atx power supply is going to be loud. The only other option is to let them run so hot that they burn out.

• ATX / BTX motherboard power connector (20+4Pin) 550mm

• +12V Power Connector (4+4 Pin) 550mm

• Peripheral connector (4 Pin) 550mm

In fact they are all 550mm long

That sucks guess i cant buy it then cus using haf x and i already need an adapter with the ax850 with the cpu connector and almost the 24 pin
