Theatening to lock the door on me.

i was nearly in an identical situation to the OP, but then i relised that after reading his post i created a ficticious world in my head where i had become him.... it was a close call i tell you, but now i am right back down to reality and i have a hosue of my own, life is gooood!!!
 
I have now read the whole thread, I retract my previous sensible advice.

I'm supprised it has not been mentioned before (hurfdurf)...

The only solution is to go home then STAND AND BANG.
Teach her a lesson how dare she throw you out of her house, what has she ever done for you eh?

Maybe he has done all he can and should be commended for his attitude, and now he should throw her out.

Maybe he did give up on her from 13 and she grew up knowing he'd given up, in which case he is to blame.

We'll never really know until he ends up on the Jeremy Kyle show :p
 
1) She can throw you out. The house is in her name not yours.

2) She CANNOT destroy/sell your things, such is criminal damage and she can be prosicuted for it.

3) If she locks you out you can go through a Lawyer to gain access to your belongings (eg take them out the house)

4) Suck it up, move out and stop mooching off your mum. Best thing me and the Missus ever did.
 
Wait until she is out of the premises and gain access without breaking and entry, then change all the locks to everything and claim squatters rights. Give her a dose of her own medicine :D.
 
I moved out at 16. I said to my mother I'm going to move out she said "do you need a hand packing."


She wanted £10 per week board. I didn't want to pay it so spent all of my £70 per week wages on a bedsit and travelling expenses to get to work. That'll teach her. hohum.

Spotty dog mate !
Would never completely disown her, just feel the times come for her to spread her wings and learn another of lifes lessons that she can't learn at home.
Most on here don't know this so I enlighten everyone into a real fact of life........... NOTHING IN LIFE PREPARES YOU FOR A TEENAGE DAUGHTER !
Sorry to yell but its something that every parent should be aware of.
