Tanks in duo lane ..... wat? Just dont do it and suddenly the arguement is void, tanks should be solo top or jungle.

That's entirely situational on team to be honest. Some people are great junglers but can't play as a tank for toffee. If your team lends itself to you having a tank on bottom with a carry then that's what you go for in all honesty. I wouldn't gimp a fantastic solo top player nor gimp a fantastic jungler just because a tank is "supposed" to go there.

You need to join our mumble group - if you want to join set up a trust account in here and i'll send you the password over

Now I know you know what you are talking about but tank/support if you want to be picky.

Does depend on the tank top lane - very easy to deny them tbh

Problem is, the tank will probably get reamed unless its taric supporting, as their support can harrass too then.

People should be able to play more roles then ;) just practice and dont gimp yourselves.

Alistair is also fine supporting - i'm sure their are more

Re roles - we tend to forget it's a game, you may like playing lots of characters I don't particularly - doesn't mean either of us has any less enjoyment out of the game but your statement implies it does.

Theres a lot of heroes that can fill all the roles, its just out of experience a good jungler requires a fair few hitpoints and the ability to soak some damage. Top needs to be able to survive a 2v1 and mid needs serious burst to catch people before they go back behind towers due to the distance from the bushes.

That being said, playing normals you dont NEED any tactics, but if you have some brainpower behind your picks it'll make your life a lot easier.

Proper tanks (like Shen, Rammus, Leona) don't really fit into the current 'meta game', so aren't really viable picks at a higher elo. People like Lee Sin, Udyr, Warwick suite the role a lot better as they can get in and deal more damage than a pure tank but take enough punishment to survive a winnable team fight.

If you're Leona laning with a Caitlyn and she wants last hits, shes the carry, shes pretty much entitled to creeps. The only time I'd go ahead and take them myself is if she's either sitting there autoattacking them like a noob or if shes harrassing. At the end of the day, you win by dealing more damage than the opponent, I've never seen a game carried because a tank has bought a fast Randuins or Banshees. Whereas games are easily won when the AD carry gets an IE within 20mins.

After a while playing HoN I've got tired of the community and so I'm going to pick up LoL, could anyway tell me the mumble password please?

Anyone got tips for jungling Amumu? What route and skills to take etc.

I'm level 21 with t3 runes so missing a few mastery points, but I presume that shouldn't affect my jungle detrimentally at this point?

it wasnt just creeps she wanted me not to steasl kills on players to...

odds are i wouldnt have got a killing blow anyway but if i did i would have deserved it for beeing the one to allow the kill to happen... not going to waste my time beeing a stunner for people to moan about it.

i dont play solo random games to have no fun at all its understandable if you queue together......

played singed the last few games majority of kills i get are because of people chasing me anyway so people cant whine...

one of the reasons i stopped playin galio aswell i can be like 4/6/30 and people still whine if you happen to get a kill nevermind you have 30 assists from utiling

Start blue, wolves, wraiths, golems, heal, red, gank. As you're missing some runes and points you'll probably want a little help with blue at the start, get them to knock it to 2/3 hp before whoevers helping goes to lane.
Start with despair, then tantrum, then you can go either one, tantrum 2 if you know you're ganking at 4, at 4 pick up bandage toss which you should get from killing red.
Masteries, make sure you get the extra experience in utility before getting anything else, after that down the tank tree you go.

Pretty much this. Start cloth and 5 pots too. Some people start regrowth+1 pot but I don't like this generally. I vary between w>e>w>q and w>e>e>q, I don't tend to see much of a noticeable difference.

I jungle 1/16/13 but I think I need to try a new setup, maybe 1/21/8.

0/21/9 all the way, a few extra gold on smite isnt much compared to having blue and red for longer, more blue means more jungle means far more gold :) oh and yummy tears of sustenance.

Yeah thought about that after I posted. I like the 1/16/13 build as it gives pretty much what I want (up to health in defense, up to 3/3 mana regen and 2/2 buff increase in support) but I find I end at golems a bit short on hp.
