Yes but i have my ax in the store and if they agree that its broke then i can change it for an other psu if it costs more then i need to pay the rest of the money and the ax costs 1400 i think

Totally not needed, any single high quality 80+ gold psu is plenty for what the OP is asking to power.

Well no point in looking at psu's now if you have sold GPU's.

You need to look at what GPU's you are getting then look at the psu.

If you go CF OR sli. 850w is possible. But go higher on the cards and you may need 1000w

I want 1200w to get a lot of headroom

But you are talking about next gen cards now. 1250W may not be enough.

Considering the fact that the next gen GPUs will be made at a smaller process, and not wanting to repeat the abortion that was Fermi, I would expect the next gen cards to consume less power.

Maybe, but OP could waste a a lot of money with not a lot of headroom. So he needs to work out what cards he wants first.

Well 2 gtx 590 uses 819w with the whole system but i think 1200w is overkill thats why i want them and am only doing sli or cf nothing more and 1200w should be enuf for the future.

Ps... Not saying that i will go for 2 590 just pointing out that if 2 gtx 590 only use 819w then i guess 1200 will be enuf
