I had to mash the pedal on the apex of a turn cos i knew it would be a few seconds before i was making my exit before the power actually came in.
I had the same issue with a Mk4 Astra Coupe Turbo I used to own.
I put it down to the fact that I was used to cable throttles fitted to high reving naturally aspirated cars and not fly-by wire throttle and turbo's. The split second of nothingness was only apparent when having a brisk drive along a B road though.
