Feeling wintery?

Have to admit I love winter too! But it's not going to feel wintery for me untill my one and a half months of holiday starts in november! :D

I love winter and the whole Christmas spirit.

I hope that we get more snow that last year as I love it!

Yesterday seemed like the last day of summer. Personally I can't wait for winter, I love the apparel, the big coats, the cold and most of all the inevitable annual UK Snow Panic! :D

I’ve been in shorts and t-shirts all weekend and any thought of winter is still a long way off.

Same worry here about the bills. Used to get them all paid through my work (so kept the place at a cosy 22-23C 24/7) - paying for it now though and also on a water meter, so not going to be fun.

Feels more autumnal to me atm, but winter isn't far away now :(

I love that first morning you walk outside and are hit by a lovely cold, crisp air :). I always look forward to autumn, makes a nice change to see bright oranges and red everywhere, instead of green. Then winter comes along and everything is white.

I would hate to live somewhere that was sunny all year.

Absolutely dreading scrapping the ice off my car in the morning and leaving work while it is still dark :(.

How could anyone possibly look forward to that :p

How the **** can anyone look forward to Winter!?

Last year was simply insane. In the sense that it literally damn near drove me insane, I spend weeks on end having to transport water around the farm for the animals to drink. Not bad you think? Try having to do it almost all sodding day :p

When it gets cold enough everything freezes, all your water supply etc. Then once everything thaws you have to repair all the things that the frozen water broke. I lost count of how many hours I spent having to fix that stuff!

Not looking forward to this Winter at all :(

Can't wait for it to start getting colder. My coat is looking quite bored at the moment :p

I used to love getting up early for college and walking to the bus stop on a crisp, cold morning. Nothing better to wake you up.

It's actually raining now and I'm genuinely freezing for the first time in months. Love it.

Sorry, I'm a Winter person :p

Leaving work in the dark is just the worst thing ever. Good things are being able to wear snowboarding gear to work because there is no dress code, now being in a flat with working central heating, and setting up my new home cinema to make the most of not being able to go outside. I'm actually quite excited for winter this year :)

Astounded at the number of people LOOKING FOWARD to winter!? WTF!

In summer in this country it occasionally gets warm enough to warrant the use of a cooling fan, this is sufficient to stay quite cool and is nice and refreshing. In winter OTOH, the central heating will need to be run for much of the time at significant expense.

Winter is horrible for your skin and lips, horrible getting out of showers, horrible darkness in mornings and stupidly early in evenings, need to use tumble dryer to dry clothes properly, have to take jackets with you all the time etc etc.

Really, nothing is more comfortable, easy or economic in winter than it is in summer.
