Hock should be gone until mid way through next season - 10 to 12 games for me. Its a tough game but there's no room for that rubbish.

Wigan couldn't control the ptb (mainly thanks to Morley and Carvell, but ably assisted by the rest of their pack) and once you get Monaghan jumping out of dummy half you're on a loser. Wigan looked a bit off the pace, but Wire were excellent. This puts Wigan in line for a play off game against Sts - the 5th time we will have played them this season.

How was Catalan Physichull?

Good report of the game mate, only thing I'll add is that Wigan (from what I remember) only had proper possession once in the first half and they scored from it, it came from Andersons mistake then a gift from Silverdud.

It's not over yet Hull are not an easy team to beat and maybe crusaders will be like a week off for Wigan.
 
It was as I expected for me but Warrington were class. Absolutely battered us most of the game and restricted our possesion and field position incredibly well. They rightly deserve the top spot and I can't see Hull getting close to them.

It was awesome! All 3 nights were spent feeling rather bleary eyed and absolutely ecstatic about the victory, puts us in 8th meaning we definately have to beat Cas next Saturday (thanks again for Sky moving the fixture....:(:confused:).

Was such a great match. For the neutral, I thought our Saints match last week was the best all season, but this just blew it away, not long to go and we knock on in front of our own line, 2 points behind! Was nail biting to the end but we all just went crazy mental in the stand at the end. I don't think I've ever been so drunk, and downright happy at any Rovers game since the playoff derby last year. Left the stadium and went back into Perpignan to celebrate in the bar by the Castillet. I was exhaused, mentally and physically drained but I managed to quash it with many a beer and singing! I dread to think what would have happened had we lost.

Will probably go again next year, depending on the fixture, but might stay in Lloret de Mar next year and get the bus up, Depends what my gang will be doing and whether I can convince my girlfriend to go!

In other news, absolutely 10000000% gutted, davastated, distraught that Clint Newton is going back to the NRL. What a hero, what a legend, forever welcome in East Hull and Craven Park! :(

Whats the news about Hock? Gouging? Did it really happen?

Edit: Just seen it, ouch! That was nasty! Ban for rest of season.

I see Tomkins has been in trouble again for leading with his feet, should get a ban along with Hock dirty dirty Wigan....
 
All Tomkins got was a caution. Hock should definately sit out the end of the season though, no place for that in RL.
 
A ban for Tomkins was probably a bit excessive, a caution seems about right, but the next time it happens it should be a ban. No actual contact was made from what I could see, but the intent was probably there but he was probably just desperate to stop the try.
 
yeah, that is lenient considering it was for two seperate offences. So that's one match for striking and 4 for gouging? Rubbish! Should have been 5-6 for gouging and then the 1 match on top of that.
 
I can't understand what would urge somebody to do what he did. Nobody in their right mind would do that, its just a bit senseless.

Agar has left Hull FC, damnit! I was rather hoping he would stay on to impede their progress!

Rumours flickering round that we are to sign Micky Paea and possibly Craig Fitzgibbon, the latter of which will never happen! Still no news on the new Rovers coach and I couldn't coax anything out of Neil Hudgell on the plane back!

You going to the Castleford game? Got my ticket for the East stand and can't wait till the weekend! Going to be a good last game and an emotional farewell to so many players and Morgan.

We are expecting a baby in 7 weeks time so no I won't be going. Give all the outgoing players and JM a cheer from me! Let's hope we beat Cas and secure 8th or even 7th at the expense of Dull!!
