I could... I've done several other bits in 3M, fog lights, dash inserts, badges etc, but have found it really doesn't take very well to acute angles, like lettering. The material doesn't have enough flex in it to bend nicely round the small lettering. Plus at the end of the day, its fake, it would be nice to replace them all with real carbon :p

Oh right, sorry im not with it at the moment, high on flu meds!

Eventually want to replace all the exterior and interior bits with real carbon, but its at the bottom of my list of things to do.

dash, wheel, gear stick inserts
front & rear badge
bullets & rear bumper insert & foglight surrounds

Other cosmetic bits im thinking of doing is getting a black spoiler and a carbon bonnet if one comes up cheap.
 
Sounds like it should be looking good.

I was thinking about doing some cosmetics, but everytime I stand outside for a tab I look it and think god what an ugly little car! I'm I the only one that thinks this?
 
Thought about carbon wrapping them with proper carbon yourself?

Mate of mine did his wheel, dash and gear inserts with a small kit using carbon fibre weave. Cost about £30 for the kit, and he's used about half of the weave. Took him a while and lots and lots of sanding down the clear varnish stuff. They look good though.

Every time I look at my car I think it looks pretty awesome. I love the Mk2 shape, especially when lowered.

Tell me about it, my car is costing fricking crap loads at the moment, all come at once (although i am replacing parts with the best available, which isn't needed i know). I need 4 new tyres before the car can get back on the road aswell. 2 fronts are illegal, and annoyingly, even though the rears have 6-7mm on, one of them has two massive screws stuck in it. I want too get 595rsr, but really don't know if i can afford the extra £200 cost of them over PE2s at the moment. Will be near on £1400 in one month on the car, which is crazy :o

Finally got the postage sorted on the bargain i got from ebay, and noticed i never actually said what it was...

One of these for £100 (still in fia) :D

Lovely seat but is it not going to be a bit impractical for road use? Those head side-impact restraint 'wings' don't half stick out a long way, and its very high indeed around the head/neck area. Wonderfully supportive and very safe, but will make reverse parking and extremely tight angled junctions a complete pain in the backside!

Sparco Evo 2 or Cobra Suzuka is what I'd want in the car if going for race seats in a road car...something like that strikes me as a bit hardcore for regular use in a 'daily'.

Meh, time will only tell :p

Currently got this as the drivers seat atm...which is fine, the corsa will get demoted to passenger side, if the circuit is too much for road use i'll swap them over, or sell both on and get two evo 2's

The Corsa looks very much like the Evo 2 to me :)

I keep wanting to strip out my Fiesta and get harness and some Evo 2s but if I do that I'd want it caged, and a change of steering wheel....starts to get a bit sillly then given its my only car :D
 
Going to get my wheels sprayed anthracite. Any suggestions as to where to get it done? Want it to be the same shade as the trophy wheels.

Also, how much is this likely to cost?
