I'd be tempted with the refurb GTX 460 768MB. Ok it may be a little over budget (84 quid) but it's a lot of performance for the price - link

It's also considerably faster than the 5770/6770 see comparison here

Thanks all for the input. I've decided look for a second hand card just above what I had, so 3850, 4670, 4770, 4850, 5570, 8800gt, .. They should still be a decent upgrade right? I remember people on here upgrading from 8800GTS 320 to 8800 GT just as they came out.

I hope there are some with decent coolers since my old card was very quiet when idling.

With the E4300 at only 2.4GHz, 5770 or GTX460 760MB would barely be any faster than cards like GTX9800GTX+ or 4850 level with the CPU bottleneck...

Yeah my thinking is instead of £60 on card, probably wiser to spend £30 on an older card and still have £30 to upgrade my CPU if I need to.
