So no anti cheat in this then?

you can disable VAC from the ingame options..

its not like its a competitive game anyway so why does it matter?

**** AA ON NVIDIA CARDS ****

nVidia users can add sparse grid supersampling anti-aliasing with the NVidia Inspector by using AA compatibility bits 0x000010C1.

obviously its a lot more demanding that using FXAA/forcing the ingame crappy AA through the video config file but for me on a GT460 im only getting around 65% gpu usage to hit 60fps vsync anyway.

BTW SORRY ABOUT THE LARGE IMAGES I STOLE THEM FROM OTHER FORUMS AND CANT BE BOTHERED TO RESIZE THEM :p

BUT I BRING YOU FOV AND AA SO GET OVET IT ALREADY!

no one is forcing you to mod if you dont want to..

lets face it people shouldnt have to mod to get a decent FOV in the first place its obviously changeable and not hardcoded how long would it take the devs to add the option via a slider? 5 minutes?

It was actually set to 62.5 by default for me... 75 now and it looks so much better, thanks for posting that arknor.

so whats the game like gameplay wise, the screenies posts looks pretty good.

But what are the ambient affects like? does it feel like your on a deserted island with zombies?

I'm not saying they are, or that you shouldn't jsut that if it is picked up on you're going to have "vac banned" on your steam profile forever...

What did you do to sort it out?

took about an hour of testing every method known to man, for me i just plugged in my old mic(that was pink jack) and set it to default device in windows and on steam then just turned the mic off.

for my mate(peroxlol) we spent ages trying since he dont have a spare mic lying around. in the end he downloaded a program called virtual audio cable, im at work atm so cant get a link, but its pretty easy, just install and then set that to default communication device and default device in windows and steam then mute it.

that should work!

Not a bad idea! 'Phantom' default device then select the real one in Skype/Vent. Will check it out when I get home.

Never played borderlands with randoms in coop?

God no. I played with friends up to max level. Some randoms can be a pita without ever needing cheats.

Even if I did join a game with random player that was cheating, it's not the world, I'd just quit that game and connect to another. It's not like they're causing problems for a server full of thirty other people.

:) makes kinda sense really lol. How does the setting actually work can you either turn it just on or off or can you manually set the distance of it?

Thanks matey

great but as there actually is apparently anti cheat int his you can see why editing engine files might not be the best idea?
