but with natwest you only need the calculator thing to setup payments, you dont need it to login ever!

I've just changed my bank from Santander to Natwest and just orderd my secure Calc thingy.... Not seen how big it is but looking at that pic it's huge...LOL
Just to note with Natwest you only need the secure Calcs if your adding & removing direct debts, standing orders and if it's a new contact that's not already in your list, you can simply log in to the online banking using your passwords and a couple of other security questions check ya balance and things without the calc.
Like I said still waiting for mine to turn up so it's smaller then I will post a Pic.
The numbers are syncronised with HSBC's systems - that wouldn't work.

Thanks for the link. Thing that gets me is that I chose my own PIN, the bank doesn't know it, how on earth can they verify I have put my correct secret PIN in my end just from the generated outcome they see????
