No official word on limited vehicle ammo; as far as I can see.

Well I asked demize99 about unlimited rounds on tanks and he never replied. He has replied to others in the mean time so may of ignored the question for a reason. I cannot stand unlimited ammo. Stupid idea. :(

Link?

Decided to keep my trusty 5870 and see how it fares.

I hope the 5870 will manage good enough with this game.

One thing recently that made me feel a little bit more optimistic was the fact that at PAX they where giving away to winners of a mini BF3 tourney 560ti's... so I took that to be an indication of the level of gpu your need for a nice experience.

Do we think this game benefit from 8gb ram? Or am I good with 4gb?

When I was playing the Alpha I had 4GB in my system (have since upgraded to 8) and encountered no slowdown or problems, smooth as butter.

I suppose if you're going to be running a few programs in the background then 8GB is going to be plenty :)

Yep, it ran it for me no problem. No noticeable frame drop, even when it all kicks off.

Higher health + MoH HitReg = WIN.
Ah thats good to hear then. I was a bit sick of 30 - 40 FPS with my 4890. Don't get me wrong, perfectly playable but when things started to really kick off it dropped to as low as 20 - 25.

That's when I knew it was upgrade time :p

FPS is all relative to screen resolution.

My 5850's in Crossfire coped ok, not at ultra settings mind you but I do run at 1920 x 1200 with a 2nd 22" monitor too for small apps to run at the same time.

4GB is fine, as lomg as you are not running loads of stuff in the background. The game cannot utilise more than 4Bg in itself as it is a 32bit programme. :)

Well I looked at the bench result against a 6970 on Anadtech on BC2 and they had very similar FPS results. Mine ran fine on the Alpha and it runs BC2 like butter. I do not think ther is a massive differnece between the two.

dont say that as I use a 4890 and can't afford to upgrade :(

found it fine in the alpha so will wait till full game out then decide on possible upgrades
