Convince me to buy a Civic Type R (EP3)!

For ***** sake, What is it with this thread? Five pages of people discussing the Toyota Corrola, and now people starting talk of sex with woman in Integra Type Rs :(

Oh, and I emailed this guy > http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3161454.htm , Seeing as the car is localish. I asked if he had the service history... apparantly It was last serviced at 37,500 miles. Poor Poor Type R!!!

I'd avoid that....a modified Type-r which hasn't had a service in 30k and also missed the major 50k timing service

Yup, or championship Brown!

My Prelude was Milano Red, I was lucky as the paint was really good seeing as though it was 9 years old at the time but it had faded as when I debadged you could make out where the badges were, I went through a lot of auto glymm on that car

I know the feeling.

But It's not Championship Brown, I call mine clotted cream, but a cheeky session with the rotary and a light compound brings it back up to scratch :D

Taken you clearly want a DC2 or DC5, just to keep this reply back opn topic. Better, more exclusive and better, did I say better? :D

I think everyone seems to have missed the point that I've been driving since I was 17, but have never had my own Insurance Policy! I'm 23 now, Zero No Claims. But.. I've also been driving thus so far with no accidents etc.

A Civic will cost me £800-900 a year to insure FC, depending on whether I set the Voluntry excess to £250 or £500 (there is a £250 compulsory on top of that! :o)

So DC2 or DC5 is a bit iffy ;)
