Thick-headed racists never cease to amaze me

It was my impression that white supremacists hated on anyone who wasn't white.

As for your own ethnicity, I find I can tell somewhat when a person is some sort of mixed race even if a lot of other people think they're simply white. I'd probably pick up on the fact that you were mixed race if I saw you. Look at Freddie Mercury, he's of Indian descent, and could pass as "Caucasian" to a lot of people but I think I can see the differences.

Freddie Mercury was a Parsi, so technically of Persian/European descent. (look up Caucasian if I were you)

You would just think I was White British with a slight tan tbh.

As for my friends views, he simply keeps them to himself and his political and racial supremacist views pertain to his homeland not my heritage, don't think we haven't discussed this various times, we just understand that we have a difference of opinion on this one thing.

What has this country come to?

Was a load of noise outside last night. Turns out some guys had gone down the street knocking over the roadwork cones and signs - how very original

You'd then invite him round and laugh about your differences over a nice braai? I take it that's where you were going with this... :o

Some white supremacists certainly do hate everyone who isn't white but there's a whole gamut of opinions possible in the overall description of white supremacist with a number holding (apparently) contradictory and logically inconsistent opinions that vary massively according to who they like - that may or may not describe Castiel's friend though as I don't know him.

I suppose as you say, it's illogical, inconsistent and contradictory. I think examples like that just show how ridiculous racist attitudes are and how little sense it makes.

lol kylew

This is a very petty argument.

Oh shut up Tummy, yet again you come in to a thread and say that without actually reading my posts. Do you think it's wrong to point out Neil's comments and attitude is racist? Why are you ignoring every one else and choosing to "lol" me?

Parsi people do seem to look different to Western European Caucasians.

It's like a girl in my school who was quite pale, with blonde hair and blue eyes, yet I could tell she wasn't like completely white, I found out later than her Grandad was "Black" African.

It was a little Ignorant of the guy to keep typing the word ****.

Kylew picked up on that so what's the problem ?

Tummy seemingly likes to follow me around and post "lolKyle" to anything I say regardless of what I've actually said.

Indeed.

Ah you come across in such a loving way :p

"yet again?" Not sure that's true.

I thought Neil said his attitude had changed? I'm not so sure that makes his comments and attitude racist (I find it hard to judge a persons attitude from a couple of posts)

I wasn't ignoring everyone else, I merely quoted you first, but I do like how you come to your conclusions.

On the word "****" I'm not so sure it's that offensive, I mean, personally I wouldn't describe someone as that (unless it's a friend and said in jest / banter) but I have several friends from that neck of the woods that talk about each other like that, and when asked they see it the same as calling British people Brits, which they also do.

Is say the word "****" better or worse then "Brit" I view them more so as shorted ways of saying the respective Pakistani / British.

Why, of course Officer. ;)

He doesn't hate them, he actually believes he is simply better than them and that they (black South Africans) are in some way inferior and as such should be treated as such. It's a strange dichotomy, but he feels responsible for way his black workers on his farm are now unemployed since he left and actually cared about their welfare, at the same time as denying them rights as equal people. I suppose he sees Black South Africans as we would see a pet Dog.

As far as he is concerned, my Amerindian descent is of no consequence as I have demonstrated that my White European blood has overcome that innate disadvantage. His words, not mine.

I'll put this to bed right now!

My short word for pakistani is ****, notice i said indians/pakis... If this stupid arse of a country deams the word **** as anything but racist than the fool is you.

Look how many different terms that word has
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=****

What's next being racist because you call a British Citizen a Brit?

What I cannot stand which causes me to rage, is having to explain myself over and over again and it's twisted around to suit your view point. There is something seriously wrong with this country when a shortened word becomes something that is so offensive. I think i'll go attack someone because they've called me a Brit

I used to go out with an asian girl and she would often get people being racist to her, I once remember on a night out this group of people, (boys and girls) were literally shouting at her profanities and "Go back to your own country" /etc etc.

I thought this was 2011. I don't understand why the English are so racist.

Indeed.

If you read back through the thread you'll read my arguments about the word "****" itself. It's been corrupted by the context of its use. It's like "******" and how "black" people try to use it as an endearing term as if "they're" taking the word back to mean something positive, but for a lot of people it'll never be something positive.

**** is largely used as a derogatory term to refer to people who "look like Pakis" because, you know they "all look the same, so what's wrong with it?". Whether or not your Pakistani mates use it as joke is irrelevant to the way neil was using it. It's like people claiming "going for a chinky" isn't in any way offensive because "chink" is some how not a racial slur anymore (becuase they themselves have decreed it, of course).

From a completely innocent perspective, "****" is no different to "Brit", no, but people have changed the meaning of it.

As for Neil's use of it, come on use some thought. If he was genuinely trying to come across as not racist and "a changed man" you'd think he'd put a bit more effort in and not say "****" because it's basically undermined any point he could have had.

Most likely drink, people on night out have attacked people for simply being there.

p.s Asian Girls, Jap girls, Chinese are seriously sexy!

Is it ok to say Jap? or is that racist :D

Thats why theres an Ignore list. ;)

I don't bother using the ignore list, never will. It reminds me of an idiot I used to know who thought he could block people in person, it was quite creepy. :p

Asside from that, I don't mind seeing everyone's posts, even if they are indulging in arsetalkery.
